A police force who blindly use ‘AI’ to justify a decision (while the behaviour of some Macabbi Fans was easily verified), a Government who is quick to jump onto the ‘anti semitism’ justification for lifting the ban (Labour Friends of Israel over reaching?) and local politicians with an axe to grind.

I was responsible for making a panetonne bread and butter pudding on Friday. Were are the bowls? In the bottom cupboard. Picked out first to hand - a fine piece of slipware. Broke the eggs into it, and cursed myself for being careless and spilling some. In went the milk and cream and AGGGG. I have never come across a slipware colander before. Hasty retreat to pan.

SellaTheChemist@jemonat @sollat @Rhodium103 I took a probe apart many years ago after just such an incident. We were crapping ourselves with fear that we'd damage the coils. Astonishingly after slipping off the outer case to reveal the coils we were able to just pick out the bits of glass with tweezers. Then we rinsed the probe with a little dichloromethane and then slipped the casing back on and redid the screws at the base. "Good thing it wasn't an iron compound" some wag commented. #NMR #cockup
