I think that the accusation of #antisemitism is quickly becoming the modern day's version of the accusation of #blasphemy that was more common in the middle ages. It's just a meaningless irrational tool to ruthlessly erase any opposition or critique of a ruling class. We're not smarter today than people were in the middle ages. We just replace dogmas with other dogmas.

With all the claims about a rise in #antisemitism, I’m still wondering if there is any statistic that uses something like the Jerusalem definition of antisemitism as definitional foundation and therefore does not count opposition to literal genocide as anti-semitic.

Because if you get your teeth kicked in for justifying a regime that perpetrates a genocide, that’s not anti-semitism, that’s anti-facism and you are the fascist! That’s good when it happens, because it shows that fascism is still meeting opposition and to an extend even that actual antisemitism might meet the same resistance by the same people!

So what I would be interested in is the development of hostile actions

* against Jews (and those perceived to be Jews) because they are Jewish,

* against Jews (and those perceived to be Jews) because of a misguided notion that Jews are somehow inherently linked to Israel, and

* against Jews (and those perceived to be Jews) because they actually are fascists who support the genocide in Palestine.

Does anyone have anything there? Even personal impressions are likely better than nothing, because what I can say is that I have learned to not trust anything major news outlets report in the slightest, because even a short glimpse tends to reveal that their stats tend to view the acknowledgement of the objective fact that Israel’s actions amount to a genocide as “antisemitic”.
