Memo to self, in an unfamiliar kitchen look carefully at the ‘bowl’ you are using
I was responsible for making a panetonne bread and butter pudding on Friday. Were are the bowls? In the bottom cupboard. Picked out first to hand - a fine piece of slipware. Broke the eggs into it, and cursed myself for being careless and spilling some. In went the milk and cream and AGGGG. I have never come across a slipware colander before. Hasty retreat to pan.
