Nein, #ChristianConcern, Gott hat den Menschen nicht als „Mann und Frau“ erschaffen (im hebräischen Grundtext ohnehin wörtlich „männlich und weiblich“, was erlaubt, von einem bimodalen Spektrum statt einem binären System auszugehen).

Ohne ins Detail gehen zu wollen: Ein etwaiges „biologisches Geschlecht“ des Menschen steht nicht im Fokus von Genesis 1,27 und 5,2. Das muss man schon ziemlich gewaltsam hineinlesen.

Im Fokus steht, dass Gott „männlich und weiblich“ gemeinsam bestimmt hat, seine Stellvertreter auf Erden („Ebenbild Gottes“) zu sein. Das ist eine Absage etwa an patriarchale Strukturen und Misogynie.

So jedenfalls interpretiere ich die Absicht, die in diesem jüngeren Schöpfungsbericht steckt (der zweite Schöpfungsbericht in Genesis 2 ist tatsächlich der ältere).
