Hey all! #CanadaFictionFest is looking for #authors from every part of #Canada to feature in our summer book showcase and author gallery, and that includes authors from all 3 territories. If you fit the bill, please consider joining us, and if you know someone else who does, please tell them about us! (Yes, you can share any of our posts on other platforms, please copy and paste the ALT text if you do.)

Check out our Author FAQ to learn how to participate! There is no cost to submit your books, and the whole event is online, so there's no travelling or accommodations you need to worry about. It's basically a great big online book fair dedicated to #Canadian fiction for all ages, and we're trying to shine a light on all the literary talent we have here!

Indie, tradpub, and hybrid authors are all welcome (and we do currently have a mix who have already submitted!)

Canadian Authors Itchio Bundle Sign Up

Are you a Canadian author interested in joining a group promo on Itchio? I'm setting up a bundle that will run March 1st to 15th and I'm hoping we can pull together 6 to 10 books to feature. NOTE: This promo is for books only. Accepted Genres: Anything but erotica. There are already tons of promo possibilities for that particular genre and I want to showcase other ones. Revenue & Pricing: The minimum price for the bundle will be set for at least $1USD per book. Percentage split for each author is set by Itchio and, depending on the number of books involved, this ends up being an even split between all books OR a couple of books end up with a slightly smaller percentage. I will do my best to make sure full-length novels get the higher rate if this happens. Please make sure your book is priced at $1.99 or more for the duration of the promo. Approval Required: About a week or so before the promo goes live, you will receive an email asking you to approve your involvement in the bundle. YOU MUST EXPLICITLY APPROVE OR YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BUNDLE. (There will be a link you have to go to on Itchio and then click that you approve. This is an Itchio rule.) IMPORTANT DATES: ------------------------------------- Last day to sign up: February 7th Last chance to approve your involvement: February 14th, 7:00pm EST If anyone does not approve the bundle by 7pm EST February 14th, I will remove them from the promo and everyone still participating will need to re-approve their book in the amended bundle on the 15th. (Please be sure to approve before the deadline!) -------------------------------------- Promotional Tools: I will provide images that you can use to help promote the bundle on your social media sites and in your newsletters, but definitely feel free to make and use your own, if you prefer! *** NO AI ALLOWED ***: Absolutely no AI is permitted in this bundle. As in, you can't have used it in your writing or your cover. At all.
