Carrot Nose by Jan Wahl and James Marshall (Illustrator) is the 1970s version of A Bad Case of Stripes or the 2000's Pinkalicious. This time, though, it's a rabbit, his boredom with carrots and a carrot elf.

A Bad Case of Stripes by David Shannon (1998) is about a girl who suffers the consequences of trying to fit in. Like Pinkalicious the solution to the problem is vegetables; in Camilla's case it's specifically lima beans.
