Nog steeds verkoopt SIS Media tickets voor het dolfinarium. Wij hebben brieven gestuurd, telefonisch contact gezocht en zijn tot 2 keer toe naar het kantoor geweest. Zonder gehoor. Wij geven niet op. Kom ook 20 maart naar station Arnhem Centraal om 13 uur en samen zullen wij van ons laten horen. Tijd om te stoppen met de verkoop van deze tickets. Tijd om het dolfinarium te sluiten 💪

International Animal Liberation Gathering

7-10 August 2025, Appelscha (NL)

An international event full of workshops, lectures, vegan food, community, rest, movies, bands and stands.

Please note that the full event will be in English.

Camping tot Vrijheidsbezinning

The Gathering will take place at the camping “Tot vrijheidsbezinning” in Appelscha. Purchased by anarchists in 1933, it has since become a landmark among activists where multiple events are held every year.

The campsite is also situated directly next to the Drents-Friese Wold nature reserve. You can step into the forest right from the campsite. An ideal place to unwind from the recent period of activism and get motivated for what's to come.

Kom in actie: sluit het Dolfinarium! 🐬

Een keer in de maand voeren we actie bij het Dolfinarium. Steeds meer mensen begrijpen dat het opsluiten van deze dieren niets minder is dan pure leedvermaak... Laten we samen de weinige bezoekers die wel nog naar dit park gaan dit ook doen inzien! 💪

MARS STOP DE DIERINDUSTRIE

Op zondag 29 juni organiseert dierenrechtenorganisatie Bite Back een mars door de straten van Brussel.

Jaarlijks sterven er 75 miljard dieren in slachthuizen, nadat ze een kort en vreselijk leven leidden. Dieren zijn intelligente, gevoelige wezens die een leven vrij van angst, stress en lijden verdienen.

Stop de Dierindustrie! Voor een einde aan de uitbuiting van dieren, een einde aan deze verwoestende industrie.

Praktisch

Vanaf 13u zijn er info-, merch- en foodstands op het Europakruispunt (aan station Brussel-Centraal).

Om 14u geven Bite Back’ers speeches. De Mars (3 km) vertrekt om 14u30 en komt terug aan op het Europaplein rond 16u30. De stands blijven doorlopend geopend tot 18u.

MARCH TO STOP THE ANIMAL INDUSTRY

On Sunday June 29th, animal rights organization Bite Back will organize a march through the streets of Brussels.

Every year, 75 billion animals die in slaughterhouses after having lived short and miserable lives. Animals are intelligent, sensitive creatures that deserve a life free from fear and suffering.

Stop the Animal Industry! For an end to animal exploitation, an end to this destructive industry.

Practical Information

From 1pm, there will be info, merch and food stands on Carrefour de l’Europe ( = Brussels Central Station).

At 2pm, Bite Back’ers will give speeches. The March (3 km) leaves at 2.30pm and arrives back at Carrefour de l’Europe around 4.30pm. The stands will remain open continuously until 6pm.

Dolfinariumvrij: Protest Against Tiqets and Bespaardeals

Op dinsdag 18 maart gaan we de straat op in Amsterdam om de stem te zijn voor de dieren in het Dolfinarium. Voor de dolfijnen die onnatuurlijke trucjes moeten doen, voor de zeeleeuwen die stereotiep gedrag vertonen en voor alle andere dieren die er als clowns worden ingezet voor het vermaak van bezoekers...

We gaan actievoeren bij Tiqets (Tickets heeft nog niet bevestigd dat ze definitief zullen stoppen met de verkoop van tickets voor het dolfinarium) en bij BespaarDeals (waar kortingscodes voor het park op worden geplaatst). Samen roepen we deze bedrijven op hiermee te stoppen en te kiezen voor een aanbod zonder vermaak met dieren.

Tiquets balanceert op het randje van de beslissing om te stoppen met de kaartverkoop voor het Dolfinarium, we zijn heel dichtbij om Tiquets het volgende succes in de Dolfinariumvrij-campagne te laten worden.

Met megafoons, spandoeken, trommels, flyers en protestborden gaan we luid en duidelijk laten horen dat het Dolfinarium niet meer van deze tijd is, en roepen we keihard op om de banden te verbreken.

Doe je mee?
We verzamelen ons dinsdag 18 maart om 13:00 voor de ingang van station Amstel (zijde van het Julianaplein) en vanuit daar lopen we gezamenlijk naar Tiqets. Daarna gaan we door naar Bespaardeals. Dit is ongeveer 2 kilometer lopen. Indien dat niet haalbaar is voor je en je hebt geen fiets bij, dan is er de mogelijkheid om met het openbaar vervoer te gaan. Neem contact op indien je hier hulp bij nodig hebt.

Let op:
- Heb je megafoons, trommels of andere dingen om kabaal te maken? Neem ze zeker mee! Je hoeft verder geen flyers, spandoeken of protestborden mee te nemen, we nemen er genoeg mee.
- Wil je ook meedoen met de actie maar heb je eerst nog vragen? Stuur dan een e-mail naar [email protected] .
- Racistische, xenofobe, seksistische en andere discriminatoire uitlatingen (of het verspreiden van zulk gedachtegoed) worden niet getolereerd. Wij behouden ons het recht voor om hierop personen te weigeren bij onze acties.

On Tuesday, March 18th, we will take to the streets of Amsterdam for the nonhuman animals locked up inside the Dolfinarium. For the dolphins that have to do unnatural tricks, for the sea lions that show stereotypical behavior and for all the other animals that are used as clowns for the entertainment of visitors....

We are going to protest at Tiqets (which has not confirmed that they will stop selling tickets for the dolphinarium permanently) and at Bespaardeals (where discount codes for the park are posted). Together we call on these companies to stop the collaboration and to choose for a businessplan that doesn't involves using animals for entertainment.  Tiquets is teetering on the edge of deciding to stop selling tickets for the Dolphinarium, we are very close to having Tiquets become the next success in the Dolfinariumvrij campaign. With megaphones, banners, drums, flyers and protest signs we will loudly and clearly bring our message across that the Dolfinarium is not acceptable, and we will call upon them to cut all ties with this park.

Will you join us?
We will gather on the 18th of March at 13:00 in front of the entrance of station Amstel (Julianaplein side) and from there we will walk together to Tiqets. After the action there we will continue to Bespaardeals if we have enough people. This is about a 2 kilometer walk. If this is not possible for you and you don't have a bike with you, there is the possibility to go by public transport. Please get in touch if you need help with this.
