Are there any other people here which are also still waiting for their #why2025 post-event merchandise order to arrive?

I recently wrote the merch team an email and asked them if they would be so kind and just cancel my order as the supplier of the merch still isn't able to deliver the merch in a good enough quality. But they denied and told me cancellations aren't possible.

Wtf, I paid almost 150€ in August 2025 which I didn't receive until March 2026. And I can't cancel the order. Seriously?

After having had to jump through some frustrating administrative hoops cause of ICS, I now have a #meshcore repeater temporarily setup indoors (sensecap solar)

I have a badge from last year's #why2025 event and found @Peetz0r hard work of figuring out how to get meshcore working on it as well as the great writeup, so I used that as my client.

I'm surprised at just how well it works here, even though my repeater is basically just balanced on top of a cupboard close to an outside wall, I never really expected it to work as well as it does. I've seen clients 24 hops or hundreds of kilometres, away in another country. Mind boggling.

Hopefully I'll get my repeater permanently fixed high up outside somewhere soon.

Makes me wanna get more repeaters to close some gaps and improve local reliability to be honest...

Look, I get what they were trying to do with the black-on-black print on the #WHY2025 merch, but at first glance, it almost always looks like cum stains.

Provides some amount of plausible deniability though … 🤔
