Stoppt den klima- und umweltschädlichen #Bundesverkehrswegeplan - schreibt eine Mail an eure Abgeordneten
Die aktuelle Bedarfsplanüberprüfung (#BPÜ) des Bundesverkehrswegeplans (#BVWP) ist eine Farce: Trotz eskalierender #Klimakrise und des beschleunigten Verlustes an #Biodiversität soll an allen Bauvorhaben festgehalten werden.
Dabei sind allein schon die als vordringlich eingestuften ca. 1.000 Straßenneu- und -ausbauprojekte mit den internationalen und nationalen Natur- und Klimaschutzzielen unvereinbar. Laut Rechtsgutachten von Heß (2021) ist der aktuelle Bedarfsplan wegen Verstoßes gegen die #SUP-Richtlinie der #EU formell #unionsrechtswidrig. Zudem ist er materiell #verfassungswidrig, da er das #Berücksichtigungsgebot zum #Klimaschutz gemäß §13 Abs. 1 #KSG nicht erfüllt (Quelle im Kommentar).
Am 29.1. tagt der #Verkehrsausschuss der #Bundesregierung und entscheidet darüber, die #BPÜ – wie bisher üblich – durch zu winken oder den Abgeordneten zur Prüfung und Korrektur vorzulegen.

The BPU* have installed a new Aboriginal Tent Embassy** in Naarm (Melbourne).
It's been set up at "Kings Domain" Park, which was the site of Camp Sovereignty***.
They've set up tents, a fire site, and have every intention to hold the space indefinitely.
This is an Aboriginal act of resistance, directed and performed by Aboriginal people in defiance of Australia Day****.
