Among the artists who stood beside us, sometimes literally on stage and sometimes quietly behind the scenes, was a woman whose voice had already become part of #Queer cultural DNA.

All-around very cool story and well worth the read. 💛

#Nuns & #NativeWomen from the #indigenous #Shinnecook tribe in #NewYork have started a #kelp #farm to help remove #carbon & #nitrogen / #nitrates #pollution from their #ocean waters.

After two years, there are #scallops, #clams, #SeaHorses, and other #MarineLife not seen in years, sheltering the kelp lines.

It's not just an #environmental success story, but of #friendship, #allyship, & support as well. 💪

New policy: When someone says or does something antisemitic, I will explain it to them calmly and openly once.

Only once though.

If they do the same thing again later, no "And you did the same thing again" and no "Let me try explaining again."

And if their response includes the words "for you" as in "I'll delete this social media post for you.", that's a giant waving red flag.

New studies say people don't step in to help when they see unfairness at work because they feel they can't make a difference. They don't trust the system or feel they have the power to help. This is different from not caring.

People Don't Help Unfairness at Work Because They Don't Trust or Feel Powerful, Not Because They Don't Care

One of the reasons showing up and speaking out matters so much is that it makes a path for others.

When people see you use your voice, they realize they’re not alone.

Your courage matters.

Every time you speak up, every time you show up, you make it easier for someone else to take their next brave step.
