Knight-Comrade Kane 37Before Stalin’s great purge there were a plenty of occult organizations and scientists and seekers of truth all across USSR. They were experimenting with telepathy, telekinesis and more. Some of them, like Vasilev, Bechterev, Turligin etc. were working in official scientific institutes exploring feature of telepathy for the upcoming communist society. One of such scientists were Barchenko. Barchenko worked for soviet military. Unfortunately he was killed during the purge and his last work – entire monography about telepathy called “Introduction to the influences through the energy field” was confiscated by political police and thus lost.
Maybe if a revolution or civil war broke out in Putin’s Russia and our comrades will have an opportunity to search archives for this artifact.
It is not a big of surprise that great purge destroyed a big deal of USSR occult organizations, including first order of mystical anarchists and a lot of parapsychologists. Telepathy is a safe and desirable feature only for a society which is truly striving for equality.
Interesting fact since late 1970 and to late 200-s in US there was a wave of strange violent deaths of parapsychologists and other unconventional scientists as well. Pattern reminded a Stalin’s one – a flaming in mass media – in US case through SCI magazines, and then after a couple of years – strange death. For examples D. Scott Rogo and Eugene Mallove.
Maybe even in democratic countries old Russian proverb – “No man – no problem” was a way to go for some government agencies, but i think some US anarchist may inform you better than me on such matter...
Thus I want to put out a simple thesis – history has shown, that only in an anarchist communist society – such features as telepathy (and probably some other “paranormal” phenomena) will be spread among the masses and become just a simple day-to-day thing.
