hubo una época pre teléfonos inteligentes en que me sabía de memoria el teléfono de mi pareja y amix cercanes. les marcaba espontáneamente desde un teléfono público para contarles algo, o si estaba de viaje, desde el teléfono de algún familiar.

lo que me gustaba de esa dinámica era una especie de distante cercanía. no podía comunicarme con elles de manera inmediata sino que tenía que encontrar momentos específicos que podían no funcionar si la persona no estaba en casa o no habían pagado el recibo de su compañía telefónica.

estas distancias involuntarias generaban aún más añoranza y deseo de buscar formas de contactar a personas queridas. ahora la distancia se siente, para algunas personas, grosera. pero a mi me parece que las distancias me hacían valorar más las presencias.
