ADHD and anxiety don't always come alone.

Did you know that 25–50% of children with ADHD also have anxiety?
Not one or the other β€” both, at the same time, often masking each other.
When you only look for one, you only find one. And that means your child only gets half the support they need.
A proper assessment gives you the full picture β€” and the full picture is where real progress starts.

Apparently I can only write long-form stuff in moments of (a) anger or (b) procrastination (two sides of the same coin). So, when you see me writing long threads or, God forbit, a blog post, I either need a whip, a hug, or both. #ADHDAwareness

ADHD can look like forgetting things, zoning out, interrupting, hyperfocusing, procrastinating, or feeling mentally exhausted from trying to keep up with everything at once.

A lot of people with ADHD grow up thinking they are lazy, careless, β€œtoo much,” or not trying hard enough. In reality, many are working twice as hard just to stay organized, focused, and regulated.

Sometimes the hardest part is not the attention itself. It’s the shame that builds around it.
