So, I just saw #FinalReckoning at my local AMC. Only 1 other person in the theater besides me & my GF.
Bottom line: I liked it & would give it a 7 out of 10 & I think it is marginally better than #DeadReckoning which I'd now give a 6.5.
BTW, while I've enjoyed them all, I wouldn't give any MI movie a rating greater than 7.
The 1st hour or so of intro & back story didn't bother me. In fact, I think it helped to recap what had happened before & how it related to the story at hand.
There were a variety of plot gaps & implausible elements in the film that I just let pass but why brought a portable decompression chamber but didn't bring an AED to revive Hunt after he was someone recovered from under the ice is beyond me. 🤷♂️
The possibility of an MI9 is suggested at the end but I really hope that it is the end of the MI chronicles.
It has been 29 years since MI1 & IMO that's long enough.
