I go to regular meetings of a Prostate cancer support group.
Last night's meeting was good, a couple of visitors dropped in.
One talking about psychological support, and how do you tell the family about your diagnosis.
(for me, it wasn't easy )
When asked how are you doing, many of us say "fine", when we ain't.

I find the support group easy to open up to as everyone round the table has Prostate cancer and understands what I am on about.

The other visitor facilitates a breakfast club for guys with life challenges, a great thing to do ! imho.

This is 3am and I am wide awake having got in a knot with the bloody catheter tube and it isn't filling the bottom bag.
I shall be glad to get it removed.!
I managed to wake up the boss, she assured me she had been awake for ages having been woken by the Thunder and lightning, Erm, I didn't hear a thing.
Thought I should add a picture, it's a plant in the garden, I have no idea what it's called, but I think it looks nice.

Due to getting some blood clots in my urine, I was sent for a bladder biopsy.
It was preceded by a cystoscopy, that is a camera pushed up into your bladder. The practitioner didn't have a delicate touch, and it was very painful.

When speaking to the surgeon prior to the biopsy, he said the problem was caused by my radiotherapy 12years ago !

Sent home with a catheter, A young lady inserted it under guidance from another Doc, so I think mine was her first one.

I know there are many people out there living with a bag, You have my sympathy, I can't wait to get mine removed.

Prostate cancer symptoms are few and easy to miss.
So regular checks are very important, Please if you have a prostate be aware of any changes in your toilet routine.
