Confronted with increasing complaints about solicitors the Solicitors Regulation Authority is going to *reduce* the number of cases it investigates.

So, an (even) smaller proportion of complaints will be investigated than currently managed.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the expectation from the SRA seems to be the legal profession would not cover the cost of comprehensive investigation of complaints...

well, who'd have expected that?
