A lot people in a few categories are very into generating stuff with "AI", I get it.

What I haven't seen yet is anybody saying "oh yeah I prefer AI-generated music/summaries/code/images/customer support to the human version"

Like, literally nobody ever popped up in my timelines here or elsewhere saying they *want* what they *consume* to be generated by chatgpt. At most, they're indifferent.

I think this means something, doesn't it?

I'm an illustrator from Japan. I've been active on social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram since 2021, mainly drawing dark themed art. I've started using Mastodon because I wanted to see various art from all over the world. Nice to meet you.

“Someone with a 1-hr car commute needs to earn 40% more to be as happy as someone with a short walk to work. On the other hand, if someone shifts from a long commute to a walk, their happiness increases as much as if they’d fallen in love.” #CityMakingMath

Where should #Montreal plant 500 000 trees as part of its climate and #biodiversity plans?

Just out today a report by the David Suzuki Foundation, with the analysis done by Habitat identifying where and which species to plant to increase functional diversity to cope with climate stressors and pests while maintaining ecosystem services.

Your reminder that Amazon warehouse workers suffer serious injuries at twice the rate of competitors.

This worker safety crisis is at its very worst during the holidays.

Don't let the Black Friday deals cloud your thinking.

Firstly, I'd just like to say thank you to all the people who have liked, boosted and commented on my images, and to all the new followers I have. It's rather humbling. 😊

Today's shot comes from a magical day in the Scottish #Highlands, a few years ago, when I was photographing red squirrels.

These charming characters are incredibly agile and can jump great distances between trees.

Here I managed to capture one as it appears to be flying down my lens.

Welcome cycling folks. Be more pachyderm.

Important question! ❤️ I made a bunch of these DIY stickers by hand... Should I use them to decorate the envelope of shop orders, or just add one inside for the buyer?
