A new “continuous sidewalk” in #Kitchener. The design differs from regular sidewalks in that it doesn’t dip down to road level at intersections. It continues at an uninterrupted height. This slows cars turning onto the street + reinforces pedestrian priority through the intersections. Same at the driveways, so you don’t get the up-down “roller coaster effect” when you’re #walking, #cycling or using a wheelchair.

Right Wing media claims VP Kamala Harris is the “DEI” candidate or "Didn't Earn It," which is wild because in reality, generating historic wealth through 2 billion acres of stolen land from Native Americans, enslaving Black people for 300 years, banning Asian immigration until 1965, & banning women from financial access til 1974 — all without paying a single red cent in reparations or restitution — is the living breathing example of not earning it.

If you can’t see what an existential threat a Trump presidency would do to America and THE REST OF THE WORLD, I pity you. But I promise, your world will be a LOT different if you don’t vote for Biden and not different in any good, measurable way.

Get over yourself and see beyond your own narrow interests. Voting isn’t marriage. You’re not going to find The One.
