Haunted food. My mum spiralised a carrot, and the result is like a cross between Thomas the Tank Engine, Pinocchio, and John Carpenter's The Thing.

"I had sex with a piglet I stole. People *must* accept that this is the future of interpersonal relationships... Right?"

I wrote a novel using AI. Writers must accept artificial intelligence – but we are as valuable as ever

Mastery of banal style is losing its usefulness – but language is more powerful than ever. It’s up to the writer to do what machines can’t

I'm not saying I did the above...

... but, goddamnit, I even hunted down an uncropped, open-matte 35mm film print so that I could see the wallpaper design better!

How autie brains sometimes work &/or process information.
A: Have you seen that Jack Nicholson film?
B: Which one?
A: The one with the frustratingly unidentifiable wallpaper.

Throw #adhd into the mix and you can lose hours/days/weeks to researching minutia.

Just saw a sign. Bern's one of those strange places where, sometimes, you have to translate German...into German in your head. Bernese German into high German. Hard to illustrate with examples but I suppose it'd be like seeing 'Hi, how are you?' written as something like 'Hreets, ou'er yu'be faren?'

This is the kind of stuff I was avidly listening to on my Walkman when pop music tanked in the late 80s.
Naturally, I had *lots* of friends.
Peers: Cinema tonight? Crocodile Dundee? Die Hard? Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Me: Belly of an Architect.
Peers: What's it about?
Me: A man with stomach cancer who commits suicide after his marriage fails.

The Wicker Nan.
Drawing/painting exercise (plus quick poster mock-up for the hell of it)
#NowPlaying Olivier Messiaen. Judging by the cover and title - Illuminations of the Beyond - I'd say Messiaen was going through his Hawkwind/Tangerine Dream/Yes phase.
For those who misread, I am not an auntie.
