When you are attending #holiday parties, please be careful with yourself/other people. You don't know their history, what they're dealing with, any #neurodiversity that might affect their experience of what YOU think is "fun". I'm #ADHD and an #introvert. I sat thru a gift exchange this morning and that was exhausting enough, but the actual *party* is at the site/in the pavilion where I married the Kid's father and the Kid was the most adorable flower girl ever...and I'm supposed to look HAPPY šŸ˜ƒ

As an #ActuallyAutistic person, my brain rejects social constructs, it always has. If I don't understand something, if it doesn't make sense to me on a fundamental level, I can't participate in it. If I try it feels like lying and lying feels like my internal organs are boiling inside of me.
