My friend Martin was a long time armchair enthusiast for searching for lost ruins via Google Earth maps and a custom process he developed in Photoshop. Many folks thought he was kooky, but I know he was often right.

I’m not a game developer, I haven’t used my own sprites yet, and my JS code is a mess, but look at this HTML and CSS code—isn’t it beautiful?

If you convert a Unity project with post-process color grading from the builtin render pipeline with PostProcessing V2 to URP version 12.x (Unity 2021 LTS), the Lift/Gamma/Gain coefficients used in color grading may need to be transformed to get the same visuals. Here are the transforms I had to apply.

Day 6 of #Santorini in #unity3d after a small #gamedev break.

I decided to double check the actual rules of the game and realised I didn't need the move/build buttons I made, nor the code associated with them, so I cut that out.

While I was on that #refactoring spree I decided to extract player win conditions and pawn movement rules into interchangeable strategy classes, to make future god powers easy to implement. Pretty happy with how it turned out, I created the ruleset for Apollo.

It feels like I'm mostly doing #csharp programming at this point, but I've still been #learning about #Unity event handling along the way, so I guess it's still useful. At least I'm having fun!

The head writer from Cyberpunk came over to Diablo 4 and suggested... this.
