A Family Torn by War – A Father’s Plea for Survival
My name is Jihad Ahmed Aziz, and I never imagined that one day, I would be writing this, begging for help to keep my family alive.
Before the war, we had a home—a place filled with love, laughter, and the dreams of a better future for our children. But war has stolen everything from us. We have been forced to flee again and again, from northern Gaza to Khan Younis, then to Rafah, and back to Khan Younis—each time leaving behind what little we had left. Now, we have nowhere to go but a fragile tent, exposed to the bitter cold, hunger, and fear.
My wife, Alaa Abdel Fattah Aziz, is struggling to care for our two little girls. Ni’mah, just three years old, doesn’t understand why she has no warm bed to sleep in anymore. Maria, only eight months old, was born into the chaos of war—she has never known a home, only the sound of bombs and the ache of hunger.
I am desperate. I am a father who cannot provide warmth for his shivering daughters, food for their tiny stomachs, or even medicine when they fall sick. We live in constant fear of what tomorrow will bring—will we survive the night? Will we find food for another day?
Please, if you are reading this, know that your kindness can be the reason my family survives. Your donation—no matter how small—will help us find shelter, buy food, and provide basic necessities for our little girls. We have lost everything, but we are still here, still holding onto hope.

My name is Saja Jawdat, I’m 22 years old, and I was studying Accounting and Information Technology at university in Gaza.
I used to dream of completing my studies 🎓, building a career, and supporting myself and my family. But when the war began 💔, those dreams were torn away.
Since the first days of the attacks, my life has been turned upside down. My family and I have been forced to move from house to house, living in constant fear and instability. I’ve lost many things, but the most painful loss has been my right to education.
I couldn’t finish my semester. With rent, food 🍞, and basic survival needs taking priority—and with prices rising beyond reach—paying my university fees became impossible. Education became a distant dream.
I am not just a student. I am a daughter 👩👩👧 trying to carry hope for her family, and a young woman determined to hold onto her dreams despite everything. Each day I ask myself:
Will I ever go back to university? Will I get another chance?
Maybe my story is only one among many in Gaza, but I believe my voice matters. I am not here to complain—I am here to ask for an opportunity. An opportunity to continue my studies, to learn, and to become who I want to be.

We haven't asked for much, just the bare necessities: food to ease the children's hunger, basic supplies, and a little stability amidst this devastation. The electricity has been cut off since the beginning of the war and our lives now depend on the most basic means.

My name is Mohammed kouffa, a 59-year-old resident of Gaza. I have a family of eight, including my son Moamen, 28, who dreams of securing a decent job, and Abdulrahman, 23, a recent graduate who hopes to pursue further studies. Shahd, my 19-year-old daughter, is a determined student striving to complete her education. I also have two married daughters whose homes were bombed, forcing them, along with their husbands and children, to live in tents.
We endure constant bombing and aggression in Gaza, facing a life filled with loss and struggle. Our home was destroyed, and we have been displaced over seven times, continuously searching for safety. Currently, we reside in a worn and fragile tent. We once operated a popular restaurant, which was also destroyed in the violence, leaving us without a source of income. We lack access to basic food supplies, clean drinking water, and a safe environment, which has led to malnutrition and numerous health issues. Our lives are marked by hunger, fear, and the constant threat to our survival.
Any support we receive will go towards basic necessities such as food, medicine, milk, and diapers for children, and rebuilding our home, even with the simplest resources available.

However, while this may violate local rules of SNS, it's not ethically reprehensible. If my family were suffering from hunger or disease and I had no other choice, I would do the same.
