Muslims are currently celebrating the Eid al-Adha festival. The festival began on May 27th and ends on May 30th. Along with Eid al-Fitr, it is one of the two major festivals of the Muslim year.

I had the honor of attending the Eid celebration and panel discussion organized by the PinFin Pakistanis in Finland community at Opinmäki in Espoo. The Left Alliance in Espoo was also present to host a table and chat with people. Great food, stunning traditional outfits, wonderful music and dance performances, encounters, and conversations.

The topic of the panel discussion was "Challenges & Responsibilities of Muslim communities in Finland". In addition to myself, the panelists included representatives from the Iranian, Somali, Indian, and Pakistani religious communities. We also received a greeting from a representative of the Tatar religious community.

The communities raised the increase in racism and Islamophobia as one of their greatest concerns. Espoo is the second-largest city in Finland, and it is home to a large number of foreign-language residents from different cultures. The city must ensure that every resident has the opportunity to live a good life as part of the community, regardless of their background, and without fear of racism.

Espoo is a home for all of us, and we work together for a better world.

Nyt vietetään muslimien Eid al-Adha -juhlaa.

Juhla alkoi 27. toukokuuta ja päättyy 30. toukokuuta. Se on toinen muslimien vuoden tärkeistä juhlista Eid al-Fitrin ohella.

Sain kunnian osallistua PinFin Pakistanis in Finland -yhteisön järjestämään Eid -juhlaan ja paneelikeskusteluun Espoon Opinmäellä. Myös Espoon Vasemmisto oli paikalla pitämässä pöytää ja keskustelemassa ihmisten kanssa. Hyvää ruokaa, pukuloistoa, upeita musiikki- ja tanssiesityksiä, kohtaamisia ja keskusteluja.

Paneelikeskustelun aiheena oli "Challenges & Responsibilities of Muslim communities in Finland". Panelisteina toimivat lisäkseni iranilaisen, somalialaisen, intialaisen ja pakistanilaisen uskonyhteisön edustajat. Lisäksi saimme tervehdyksen tataarien uskonyhteisön edustajalta.

Yhteisöt nostivat rasismin ja islamofobian lisääntymisen yhdeksi suurimmista huolenaiheistaan. Espoo on Suomen toiseksi suurin kaupunki, jossa asuu suuri määrä muunkielisiä asukkaita eri kulttuureista. Kaupungin tulee turvata, että jokaisella asukkaalla on mahdollisuus elää hyvää elämää osana yhteisöä taustastaan riippumatta, ilman pelkoa rasismista.

Espoo on meidän kaikkien koti, ja teemme töitä paremman maailman eteen yhdessä.

8 tons of sacrificial meat were distributed to 1,600 needy families in the provinces of #Logar and #Kapisa.

Saturday, 13th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447

The Afghan Red Crescent distributed 8 tons of #sacrificial_meat to 800 needy families in Logar province and another 800 families in Kapisa province.

This assistance, provided by the #TurkishRedCrescent, ensured that each family received 5 kilograms of meat.

This aid was provided in observance of #Eid al-Adha and to meet the basic needs of families in need.

The Afghan Red Crescent is #committed to providing the necessary humanitarian assistance to needy and impoverished families in coordination with partner organizations.

۸ تُن گوشت قربانی به ۱۶۰۰ خانواده نیازمند در ولایت‌های #لوگر و #کاپیسا توزیع شد

#هلال_احمر_افغانی، ۸ تُن #گوشت_قربانی را به ۸۰۰ خانواده نیازمند در ولایت لوگر و ۸۰۰ خانواده دیگر در ولایت کاپیسا توزیع نمود.

این کمک که از سوی #هلال_احمر_ترکیه تهیه شده بود بر اساس آن، هر خانواده ۵ کیلوگرام گوشت دریافت نمودند.

این مساعدت به مناسبت #عید سعید قربان و به‌منظور تأمین نیازهای اولیه خانواده‌های نیازمند انجام شده است.

هلال احمر افغانی #متعهد است که در هماهنگی با نهادهای همکار، کمک‌های بشردوستانه لازم را برای خانواده‌های نیازمند و بی‌بضاعت فراهم نماید.

#Afgan_Kızılay'ı tarafından logar vilayetinde 800 ihtiyaç sahibi aileye ve Kapisa vilayetinde 800 ihtiyaç sahibi aileye toplam 8 ton #kurban eti dağıtıldı.

Türk Kızılayının desteğiyle temin edilen yardım kapsamda, her aileye 5 kg et ulaştırıldı.

Yardım, Kurban Bayramı münasebetiyle ihtiyaç sahibi ailelerin temel ihtiyaçlarının karşılanmasına katkı sağlamak amacıyla gerçekleştirildi.

Afgan Kızılay'ı iş birliği yaptığı kuruluşlarla koordinasyon içerisinde, ihtiyaç sahibi ve yoksul ailelere gerekli insani yardımları sağlamaya kararlıdır.
