But behind this crowded scene, the reality is different.
Prices are too high for us to afford.
The same streets filled with people… hold burned homes, destroyed houses, and broken memories.
Among the crowds, many are not shopping…
They are just walking, trying to feel Eid… even for a moment.
Hearts here are heavy, tired, and quietly hurting.
Most of us are not celebrating… we are just trying to survive the day.

Eid is supposed to be a time of joy…
but for us, it rings like a bell of pain and loss.

It reminds us of the people who are no longer with us…
the ones missing from this Eid.

Even if there is no war outside,
inside us… a thousand wars are still raging.💔
