My husband usually feels exhausted during the last days of Ramadan because of the long hours of fasting.
But this year is completely different. He has been experiencing repeated fainting spells, and doctors are still trying to find the cause.
The truth we are afraid to say is that hunger and lack of food are leaving harsh effects on our bodies.
