A mother from Gaza β€” of two little boys, Osama (5) and Yousef (3).
I lost my home, our source of income, and the life we once knew.
After surviving genocide, famine, and indiscriminate bombing, we now live in a tent, trying to start from scratch.
Through this page, I try to make my voice and my children’s voices heard by the world, and I need your support to help us have a warm and dignified life.

Could you please share my fundraiser with your friends or in any groups you are part of?

My campaign aims to raise funds for my children's school tuition and educational expenses, which cost about $200 per month.

My children are bright, hardworking, and deserve the opportunity to continue their education despite the difficult circumstances we are facing.

Help Sara and her children Yousef and Osama

From Nicole: I have been helping Sara for the past few months to make sure that the funds she received got to her. We started this Chuffed campaign as GoFundMe had orginally put a pause on her account (officially on December 23, though that pause stopped all payments after December 8) and took weeks to make a decision. Their decision was to suspend Sara's GFM (see here, on her Mastodon post).

Why do boycott campaigns suddenly become a trend and then fade away?

Boycotting should not be a temporary trend. It should be part of our daily choices.

Whether people agree with every claim about its impact or not, many supporters believe that sustained consumer pressure has real effects and forces companies and decision-makers to respond.(1/2)

@aral Here in Gaza, after months of severe shortages and hunger, many of the products that later entered the market were brands that had been the focus of boycott campaigns. To many of us, this felt like a sign that public pressure was being noticed.

The reality is that people can influence markets. They can influence companies. And together, they can help shape reality.

Don't let boycott campaigns disappear after a few weeks. Stay consistent. Your choices matter.(2/2)

I went out on our deck to see if the plants needed water and found this #fawn sleeping.

MyAccording to my verified Gaza report, I received only $12 in donations over the last 7 days.

I am a mother of two children. We have daily expenses, essential needs, and monthly school fees to cover.

Is this normal?

Please, I truly need your support. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a difference for my family.

Donate now and help us get through these difficult days. ❀️

More than two weeks have passed, and only $30 has been raised ❗❗❗❗❗❗

We urgently need support for our campaign again. Thank you to everyone who stands with us.

Do I really have to keep talking about how much I am suffering?

I was absent from Mastodon and social media for 15 days, and sadly, no one seemed to notice.
No one remembered that my need for support does not disappear when I go quiet.

Unfortunately, I find myself having to remind everyone once again:
I am a mother of two children from Gaza, and this campaign is our only source of support and survival.
If you are able to help, please consider making a donation here:

Wissam Miqdad says Dutch police informed him of a deportation order to Egypt, while his wife was allowed to remain in the Netherlands.

He stated that his wife is nine months pregnant. According to his account, when police came to take him and he told them he was Palestinian, officers pushed his wife and threw her to the ground despite being told she was heavily pregnant.

The video is available for those who want to hear the full story and see what happened.
@aral

Read the article.
It feels like the story is being softened.

Why does the Palestinian keep paying the price across the world?
Why does it so often feel like Palestinians are denied dignity and basic rights?
