First they ask for your date of birth,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for your full name and location,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for a copy of your passport,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for your facial scan,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for your fingerprints,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for your palm scan,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for a scan of your iris,
but later they claim it's not enough.

Then they ask for ...

#MassSurveillance #Authoritarianism #AgeVerification #Privacy #Democracy #HumanRights

@Em0nM4stodon This sounds like their voting plans.
@Em0nM4stodon then they stop bothering to ask
@Em0nM4stodon Then they leak your data and your identity gets stolen.

@Em0nM4stodon

Long List, you forgot

Then they take DNA

Often taken without the persons knowledge, especially in the case of females.
One tampon is enough, it is called discarded DNA in many countrys and no law protects citizens..

@Em0nM4stodon

ICE is currently taking DNA samples of protesters that they detain. Even if the protesters are never charged with any crime.

https://www.npr.org/2026/03/19/nx-s1-5753787/ice-officers-are-taking-dna-samples-from-protesters-theyve-arrested

@SeanPLynch @Em0nM4stodon Alright y'all, let's comply enthusiastically. ICE needs your spit, and there's a really easy way to oblige them whenever you see them !
@SeanPLynch @Em0nM4stodon how is this even legal?

@kkarhan @Em0nM4stodon

It is clearly in violation of every American's 4th amendment rights.

However, because 70 Million MAGA voters voted for Republican politicians, Americans no longer have any constitutionally guaranteed rights

And the pro 2nd amendment crowd still thinks this doesn't apply to them.

It's leopards eating sheeple's faces time, and the sheeple never woke up. They were too well groomed, and think being woke is bad

@SeanPLynch SUE! that is a taking. Ask a million. Make it very expensive
@SeanPLynch @Em0nM4stodon next up they will be seeking out the “genetically impaired” to send them to concentration camps.
@SeanPLynch @Em0nM4stodon don't forget to change your DNA if it has been compromised!
#SecurityAdvice
@Em0nM4stodon
they're gonna go for trackable implants/barcodes to be implanted. just u watch.

@Em0nM4stodon

"Hmm, we don't seem to have your colonic map on file.."

@Em0nM4stodon
Then they ask for your mother, father, husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, daughter, son, all relatives and
friends, co-workers, local activists, religious leaders, teachers, librarians, breathing humans. And it's not enough.
@Em0nM4stodon "Place your genitals in the steel clamps for verification please."

@Em0nM4stodon I don't know if you are in the UK, but I can tell you 'they' do not ask for any piece of data.

I discovered last week that my local authority, (RCT), has handed all their council tax data for each household over to a third party data management company, and surprise, surprise....all this data is stored in the AWS cloud, no doubt searchable with AI.

We're already trapped....🤨.

@Oyu_Fka @Em0nM4stodon

Or the government bring in #Palantir to manage your #NHS data, sharing all your health records with the US and more

@StingrayBadger @Em0nM4stodon I'm not 100%, but I think palantir have already got our NHS data.

I suspect starmer/blair dropped their plan for enforcing a phone based ID app on us, not bc of the opposition by the general public, but bc they realised 'there's more than one way to skin a cat'.

For instance: combine local authority data with NHS data, and then add in passport data which includes facial recognition and finger prints if you travel in the EU, and your ID is complete whatever!

@Oyu_Fka @StingrayBadger @Em0nM4stodon

in all likelihood they stopped it because a phone based ID assumes everyone is capable of working a smartphone to begin with.

that in turn requires you to somehow stump up the cash to get a phone and a SIM contract...

...which requires an income far larger than the informal economy is willing to part with.
which means right-to-work checks which means a phone-based ID you don't have...

see the problem here?

@breathOfLife @StingrayBadger @Em0nM4stodon Yes, the phone ID was obviously not fit for purpose...at least the purpose they claimed it was intended to be used for - that was just a way of distracting the public from their real intentions to exert greater control on the individual.

I don't believe they have genuinely abandoned the plan....as I said, there's more than one way to skin a cat - look how israel ID's every individual Palestinian based on facial recognition, lol!

@StingrayBadger @Oyu_Fka @Em0nM4stodon WHY IS THIS NOT ILLEGAL?
@kkarhan @StingrayBadger @Em0nM4stodon Good question tbh. No consultation with the public that I'm aware of 🤔.
@Oyu_Fka @Em0nM4stodon so the British hate themselves that much?

@wronglang @Em0nM4stodon The people, no....the government, yes 🙂.

Nobody, from whatever country, should trust their government - that is for fools only.

@Em0nM4stodon

This Worldcoin bullshit possibly isn’t gonna be used.

Probably they just need it to train the base model and then make transfer learning with some sorta of authentication.

Canon stock goes up?

@Pibert The Worldcoin stuff is already being used, very regrettably: https://www.privacyguides.org/articles/2025/05/10/sam-altman-wants-your-eyeball/
Sam Altman Wants Your Eyeball

Last week, OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman announced in San Francisco that the World project he co-founded, formerly known as Worldcoin, is opening six stores across the United States, allowing users of the project's app to scan their eyeballs. This is worrisome, to say the least.

Privacy Guides

@Em0nM4stodon

The mini-apps stuff isn’t the use. This company will probably be bankrupt.

The problem is using this high-definition iris data to train a base model then if that could be needed in the future, it could train the model of your iris via transfer learning(like with face recognition) and use it for some sorta thing in society idk

@Em0nM4stodon not defending. This project is ultra sketchy
@Em0nM4stodon ...then they will ask for your DNA
@allanon @Em0nM4stodon RealID was a moving target right from its inception under Dubya.

@Em0nM4stodon ... you to turn off your VPN and try again.

Sweden is one of the countries that has a semi-government digital id (known as BankID). Initially it was just used for government and bank interactions but it has slowly seeped into basically everything. The other day I just wanted to check what homework was due for my kid (which shouldn't even require a log in since it isn't sensitive). When identifying, with said e-id, I was told to turn off my VPN and try again...

It geo-tracks too.

@Em0nM4stodon @bmacDonald94 and it's always "because safety"

@Em0nM4stodon

Skip the whole goddamned #FOSS #birthdate puppetry and just implement Palantir API data feed on every #Linux distro...

... That's what these fash broligarchs want.

@Em0nM4stodon We need to punch the camel in the nose before the rest of him is in the tent.
@Luna @Em0nM4stodon I hope that was a euphemism for the POTUS.

@Em0nM4stodon

yea, at this point, people will start going back to pen-and-paper notebooks, flipcharts, feature-phones, filing cabinets, typewriters, libraries, telegraphs, checkbooks, cash,
CD/DVD/Blu-Ray players and movie theaters for their day-to-day affairs.

they were convenient before,
they're still convenient now,
and they won't EVER betray you.

why even bother with computers?

@Em0nM4stodon

also, it would improve the lives of blind people considerably, since it's easy to cook up a braille paper form and send it off in the mail.

entire new technologies have to be invented just to get braille to work on a smartphone.

@breathOfLife @Em0nM4stodon Yep turing the internet into a digital panopticon will spawn a generation of neo luddits.
@Em0nM4stodon simple truth that no one wants to admit is most of the population see it as if I'm not doing anything wrong, I don't care, so the laws pass as the politicians majority votes for support it and the minority who didn't want it then run around all pompous like ones who have to implement the laws are the evil ones...
@Em0nM4stodon The second couplet is where I turn off my computer and spend more time touching grass.

@Em0nM4stodon and that's why one must refuse to comply as a matter of principle!

@Em0nM4stodon Soon they will ask for DNA sample

@Em0nM4stodon
... A litre of blood be drawn by the convenient blood drawing machine that all PC manufacturers voluntarily complied with adding.

@aral

@Em0nM4stodon there is proposed legislation in the US to require tissue from miscarriage’s and pill abortions to be saved in a container and shipped to a government lab.
Probably best not to speculate about what they might ask for next.
