This data is now used in a positioning model, and allows them to track you wherever you are, based on a single image.

Age verification laws forcing platforms to restrict content access have been multiplying exponentially.

The problem is, implementing such measures necessarily requires identifying every user accessing the content, one way or another.

This is bad news for everyone.

If these regulations continue
to proliferate, this could lead to the end of pseudonymity online, and much worse.

•Take affect after 2 months
•Implement mandatory identity verification on social media and messaging apps
•Ban the use of nicknames that can hide the real identity of the user.
•Locking out under 14 youth from everyday apps like WhatsApp and YouTube
