Kira owns a house on a colony planet of the Union. It's a not so dense populated world so the homes tend to be on the bigger side also it was planned to to Hause her parents, her sisters and herself.
She only lives in a small portion of the house around 55 square feet with 2 rooms, a batch, toilet and a brought window front to a coastal area. The colony is known for their agriculture on our today's earth it would most like resemble Schleswig-Holstein or Denmark. The colony produces a lot of different crops for not so easily farmable worlds.

Arkham lives on Terra in London in an small apartment over a closed, cir er restaurant, she owns the Apartment and the Restaurant room but not the whole complex building.

London in the 24. Century lays directly on the northern ocean and even has sand strands and palm trees in a thick as it gets fog.

⬅️ In the ground surrounded by water barriers & they desperately try to get it's foundation dry enough to start relocating it. London has a broad beach area with fine sand but only small portions are usable as swimming areas, they have a extra barrier against the highly toxic see water. London is the center of the Terra based education facilities of the Union & the alliance. So it's has a lot of interplanetary flair and yes big parts of London we would know today where swallowed by the north Sea as it expanded into an real ocean. At least the new city parts are immison positive.

Ash is either at home onboard of the Ghoz'Tarc or as the AI of the Ship in space. She clearly prefers Union space because it's more dense populated and rarely attacked.

Mass Effect, Star Trek, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Cyberpunk 2077, DND, Zelda, Star Trek Online, Star Trek the trading card game (while playing I developed a narrative), I can lead very political discussions while playing Magic the Gathering and describe scenes that happen in a incredible narrative way and I'm working on the Star Ryde Self Insert Romance Alternate Universe which is basically unhinged Fanfiction of my y own work Star Ryde... Which grew out of two fanfictions mainly Mass Effect and Star Trek.
Did I ever share something? Nope not really, I now have an AO3 account but at the moment that's it. Haven't set up mobile usage for me so far & haven't uploaded anything because I am picky as fork, have a slower pace than others & lost most Fanfictions as my external HDD died earlier this year.

Is there a character in your repertoire that you regret creating?

At this point in my Author_ity life not really.
I have some hard time bringing down all the Trauma that some carry, like Candiece my cannibal in Fallout 76, luckily I don't play the game anymore so I don't have to come up with new reasons why she does what she does & keep her frozen in time til I am able to write her like she deserves.

For Star Ryde I think that not everyone on board will have the time to shine. I kept the crew at a realistic minimum for a space ship that has a mission and isn't a bunch of outcasts somehow, follows a 6-8 hours crew rotation, etc still ~40 people is a task to write even if I count a bunch of them as TC/ Tertiary Characters at this point.
It dates back to the time as I wanted to tell a realistic story but my brain zones out at 2 AU or Hawking Radiation.

I heard once in a gag Spirit Animal usage would be cultural appropriation and we should call it Fur Sona (like the Furry community does with its characters their fur suits represent) and despite not having the best experience with persons from this community (I guess it's just the persons not the whole community) I can't forget that statement.

Hard to imagine I guess it would be Wolfpaws for the whole crew, after all they are, to a degree, a loving family for each other. I haven't though about alien animals lately & don't want to dig into my world building files rn.😅

Kira would be the surrogate mother at this point & the rest of the crew would be the family.
Remember Alphas don't exist even according to the scientist who brought it up in the first place.

Who is your clumsiest character?

I haven't thought about this for Star Ryde. My rogue im playing on DND atm pretends to be clumsy. Despite seeing Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon as my spiritual Twin, I don't think I have any real clumsy characters,that aren't clumsy to cover up something.
Well their is Natto my DND winged Tiefling, Druid of wildfire, but she also is righteous evil like if you kill a Animal without giving nature something back it's completely legit to burn down your house, again pretending to be clumsy and she always tries to pay people with nuts and herbs she collected. She once slipped down a cliff and forgot that she has wings. The team had to sacrifice a magic rope to save her, because the intelligence checks ran low on this day, no one even scratched a ten on a D20... But is it real clumsiness? Not sure.

Since family affairs are complicated that's it for the foreseeable future."

Arkham:"Outside perspective on this mission is difficult we pretty much depend on our own and our crew members. At least Ash can provide a plain data perspective and luckily ship crews are always comprised out of different backgrounds."

Ashlei:"My personality matrix is programmed to be able to support different opinions according to known information without being influenced by emotions."

Sidenote as a DM, in DND and other games, I tend to make goodbyes really rough and gut wrenching. Like that one time I throw the favorite goblin NPC of our team in as a last safety to prevent a PC from being obliterated by the BIG BAD EVIL GUY.
The BBEG hissed at the PC say Goodbye blasting a Sunlight Scorching Ray at them and the little gobbo jumped in between the ray and the PC yelling "Good buy... (he had a problem with common speak).

Is your SC an “easy person to love,” or is it the opposite?

That depends on what you fall for, what your looking for and what your romantic identity involves
I'm sure the crew has a good ensemble of characters that are relatable, but easy to love I don't know, they are very friendly and cozy with each other and often upright and openly blunt. If this sounds compelling to someone they might find them easy to love, if not than not. If course they come with their quirks and traumata as almost all of us do.
I can tell, that Rose and Talisa Draken found them self so easy to love that they got married right after the academy and referred to each other as wife's beforehand. They also have gone on almost entirely on every mission as a team.
And if J. likes you, you are in for a ride.

Out of all of your characters, who talks the most, and who hates it the most?

J. can get really chatty but at the same time it's hard to get annoyed by her, because
a) she is so incredibly nice & openly supportive for whatever it is you do as long you don't hurt others
b) has genuine interest in what you do, she even gets a long great with Jenkins who of all the Ghoz'Tarc crew is the most up tight & closed lip person on board
c) try to ignore a person with nearly 2 Meters height, enough strength to lift you up & carry you around like you where a child &
d) is the explosive specialist on board & a field medic...
Even I have no idea how many people onboard rely on her Up Beat personality to just have a decent day, she even remembers the birthday of your kids tortoise if you ever mentioned it.
As I said Jenkins is pretty much the opposite but even he can't deny, that it is great to have her onboard.

Tell us what your MC last put in their refrigerator or describe the food you can always find in their cupboards (if fridges don’t exist).

Kira has a tiny kitchen corner in the captains quarters with a even more tiny fridge. It's mostly used for cooling medicine or tiny amounts of special occasion consumables.

Arkham uses the also tiny fridge compartment next to her Hyberpod (Most people call them Hyperpods but it's actually a b).

Ashlei is basically also a very smart fridge/freezer. Since most rations are store as Eqil (Food printer ink) fridges or freezers aren't that needed however every ship has a social area with a kitchen compartment and the Ghoz'Tarc has a ground kitchen container (colonial starter) on board. Most times it used for rare fresh materials, left overs from the cooking (will be cleared out after 12 hours) etc.

'Chief' Trawella: "You know there is an ancient song from an artist I always forget. I think it's in early 21st century American, you know that ancient language should be like ancient English but isn't, that no one really speaks anymore? There was an artist who's name ment something with colors and she had a song about me. Na not really but it fits perfectly."
He started humming, swinging his hips and singing:"I'm Trawella! I'm Travella. I'm Travella." And very weird sounds mimicking the ancient forgotten language.*

I stroll away from the exact prompt and skip the references completely instead giving the POV of most Terrans.

Terra is a Hellhole but it's also our home. It was ruined by the people of our past humans claimed to be humane sadly they where also a bunch of coward's not living up to their potential, more content on survival than keeping their home livable, incredibly ambitious but misguided and miss used by people who called them self elites, unfair, untrustworthy, not interested in living together in peace and harmony, depicting them selfs as some sort of hyper evolution.
They where parasites, this is why the Terran Manifest was written, this is why people started bounding and fighting back, corrupt leaders where hold accountable, billionaires where...

Check-In: Share a snippet you’ve written recently that you’re proud of. (Doesn’t matter what it’s from, or if it’s edited or not.)

Not at the moment for several reasons. I am at a all time low with my energy barely scraping on daily stuff.
I simply don't have the energy to choose something, translate it from German, find a translator (which I really would like to support but financially can't) and I hate using translation tools to offten if I can avoid it because most of them also use AI or support AI and I don't like the way they "try to improve" anything with AI.

That said my progress is also very slow so I might have nothing to share at all which I didn't already shared it or nothing I fell comfortable sharing at all for the moment.

I like the idea and hope it helps everyone but I for the foreseeable future won't participate in it by posting.

Tell us about something that will always make your antagonist laugh.

AJ (Ariaene) has a personal guard & assistant while not on mission.
She takes great care with them, on good days she tries her best to be an invisible supportive ghost.
She was ordered by AI to help out if necessary, but she clearly likes AJ as a person and does her best to keep them save on bad days too.
If AJ remembers her it's an instant smile and joy for them. On bad days she often manages to get through to AJ when others can't & calm them down. AJ likes her humor pretty much because ist very dry served. Otherwise it's more erratic on the battlefield if they manages to "push" big groups of opponents around like they are tiny wargame figurines.

AI (Antagonist Infernale) hasn't been seen yet and no one knows what they may find funny

Most with their Families and loved ones at home or doing the job they feel "called for" this is a remaining artifact concept from the German Beruf.
Work you do or "a job" but comes from "die Berufung" which means "call to be a" _____ literally the same like in "call to be an epic mage that safes the world" "call to be the fates chosen one" etc.
Yes German work culture was and in sadly only parts is way more than the stuff you do to survive or make money to survive. But the concept was taken on by terrans and other union species.

Does your antagonist have any unusual or advanced skills?

Ariaene has the uncanny ability to get away or infiltrate almost any environment.
They is a skilled infiltrator able to blend in also some very out of place abilities, some claim even see them shape shifting but that might be really swex and over exaggerating do to miss understood usage of technologies that are not broadly known to the public.

AI is absolutely unknown I would say that's a special skill. Pulling the strings from somewhere somehow.

Addendum per definition Non consent BDSM can't exist. BDSM is a practice build upon consent.
The parts that are in BDSM that content "acted out non consent" are part of the consent given by any participant prior to the act.
If this is not the case it's rape.
Any form of sex that is not consensual it is rape and consent is something only the parties involved can decide on, but only for their own part, if one does not give consent while the other gives it's non consensual, if any party acts out sexual deeds in a non consensual frame it is rape.

Starring out into the distant stars. "I think I can't tell. I haven't made friends before or heck a romance... This is weird. I always been focused on work. I met Captain Johanson once before the mission & she was kinda different from my other Captains. She didn't asked why I wasn't wearing standard issued uniform that day. She asked if I need something. And it felt genuine. I guess she was curious why I was dressed in cut down uniform but she didn't burst, instead she simply asked if I need something and smiled. Some month later I was requested for this mission, than we went on this mission. And she still was genuinely interested in me and my well being. Now I have Kira, you," she gently broucher Ash's node, "the others, but who am I in this circle?"

The node blinked faster before starting to pulse more slowly.

Funny like "haha" or funny like "ha?"

As with yesterday's prompt I don't think I have that one funny character. Some like J. are more easily cracking jokes but she isn't doing it for laughs alone. She doesn't take herself very serious if she can make other feel relax and she also likes to play a bit dumb sometimes. She prefers to be underestimated rather than sticking out as the sharp knife, it's hard enough with 198 cm as and a back that easily count's for two people.

How much does your MC value communication in their relationships and/or friendships? Are they prone to being misunderstood?

Kira values them highly, after all she is the XO/Captain and has to be understood correctly. She sometimes can be almost brutally blunt, upfront and open. While in her private communication she isn't that unsimilar for some parts she prefers a more closed off and interpretable language. She loves flirting with J. and J. With her but both know that this is not romantic but simply to make the other feel valued and appropriated, and J. is almost certainly not interested in anything more than close emotional bonds or not sexual body contact.

Arkham learns to communicate more openly.ejole on board even if she would prefer not communicating at all but even that is a sort of communication so being open is the lesser evil.

Ash: as the ships AI prefers clear cut and open communication.
