Badly but that's what stimulants like caffeine for right? At least short term (yes I know I am guilty of to much caffeine long term also).
It's a military space ship so on and off duty and spare and sleep time tends to be very different depending on the day and workload, but no one has a good reaction to sleep deprivation. It's only different levels of worse.

With whom is your SC’s most important relationship?
You wouldn't believe how many fingers of the crew point at J. to answer this question.
A Terran day only has 24 hours even in the 24. century, even the enormous amount of water that Terra has and the increased slowing down thanks to the moon tidal interactions it barely added 5,8 milliseconds in 300 years.
Yet somehow J. seems to have enough time, next to her role onboard, to interact with everyone & getting to know them well enough to feel appreciated & seen (+no one knows how many people outside the crew).
Similar it's true with Talisa, who is seen as the "mother" onboard or William Troika the 3rd/2nd XO who is the dad figure on board.
Talisa's & Rose's relationship is also unique since they grew up together & later married each other, to the point that people don't even remember Talisa's birth name anymore.

He used to be the captain of a starship and this still shows.

Okay that Bs I totally made that up.
There is no captain Quirk I rather would write a Captain named Bicard, Fisko or Maneway.
I have a big bunch of SCs.
For J it's her flirting and cuddling that can be a bit taxing to others especially if she wants to cuddle naked. Since she has no sex drive people might find that aspect confusing and at times complicated. She also cheers you up at almost any occasion if she likes you. And she can be so loud...
Rose often comes across as cold and distant only to explode into a burst of energy about topics she finds interesting.
Talisa often hits right into the "keep this secret hidden" spot.
Dr. Kaiden insists on telling people that he is Korean.
Other people couldn't care less about heritage but he often splurts it out like some USAmericans today. (😬💚)

The whole crew has a cover up identity of being guards for the council of the Union. Well all other than Mondira.
The Mission has several layers of orders in case specific scenarios are happening.
The crew is only ment to know parts of them.
At least 4 members probably more 5-10 are also SHADES like Kira with the same power and rights. It's part of the failsafe to prevent single SHADE agents to go rouge.
The Ghoz'Tarc is officially a supply ship for the Phoenix the Unions Flagship and mobile government base.
The Phoenix has a special secret which is related to its Name.
The Ghoz'Tarc has a holographic disguise system.
Nobody ever expected Kira and Ashlei to merge. Which also is a bit problematic because usually the Command staff has the codes to shutdown the AI core via the sub core.
Kira keeps the real merge levels hidden.

In case the SC is part of a crew they have to bow to the law enforcement according to what the captain seems necessary. Like getting released from duty to be taken into custody or being hold on board for the remainder of the mission & handed to Union law enforcement later.
In case of a foreign entity like Rimworlds the Union uses their "we"re not Union" stand against them. They have to fill out a request to Union law enforcement, going through the ministry for outward affairs, to handle the matter & may be allowed to represent their case to Union courts. It's a protective measurement because Union Citizens have died under foreign entity laws, that's why the Union doesn't shy away of using its military as a lever to handle such circumstances.➡️

939 How would your MC respond if they were falsely accused of a crime? 1/2 This is highly dependent on the situation. Kira in her free time: Look for the seriousness of the accusations, if the Union police is already involved she would have to obey. She might be able to take control over fleets & personal but the Police is a civilian to law protection & enforcement part. There Job would be taking her in & she would not fight against it. On mission the same scenario could play out completely different. If the mission is in danger she would finish the mission first even if this would create problems later. If she is taking control over military asset's via her SHADE Status only other SHADEs can remove her forcefully as long she stands in that position. Usually this only lasts til a certain military action is wrapped up & she would have to stand down immediately & hand herself over to the law enforcement for investigation. ➡️ #PennedPossibilities 939 #StarRyde #KiraKnox #SciFi #WIP

Ja denn Sinn ist etwas das Personen selbst vergeben. Alle anbord der Ghoz'Tarc wurden von Anika als Captain ausgesucht weil sie a) gute Soldaten sind, deren speziellen Fähigkeiten auf dieser Mission wahrscheinlich gebraucht werden, b) loyale Unions Vertreter die im Dienst der Union und der Allianz bewiesen haben, dass sie für die Ideale beider einstehen c) Anika bereits mit ihnen gedient hat oder d) sie Anika von Admiral Ron Hackett-Anderson persönlich empfohlen wurden weil er mit ihnen gedient hat.
In dem Sinne ist die Crew, so bunt sie persönlich auch sein, mögen eine ziemlich homogene Masse.

Do your characters play any sports, or did they play any in the past?
Play? None, fitness in the military is mandatory this making training a necessity. The people have options for what they do for fitness. And even the Cargobay of the Ghoz'Tarc is a great place to train, it's even build with that purpose in mind with different functions and the ability to secure containers in mud air thanks to gravity manipulation.
Kira is on the "harder" side. Martial arts, climbing, running are basic training for her and she train's daily. Not all the time the same stuff but daily.
Arkham to her horror realizes that she actually enjoys dancing especially Breakdance and some other more body taxing variants.
J.'s muscles aren't created out of thin air, she works out hard for them.
Even our slightly chubby C.E. Charlston Trawella joggs and does gymnastics. It's kinda self-explanatory if you crouch inside the ships tighter parts.

In your SC's opinion, what would be the worst way to die?
Every way to die is horrible. Because we fear death, we don't imagine to end, but death is the ultimate end.
We only put tags on it to deal with it. Because we can't handle uncertain things well, so we need to attribute something like a value or a reason to something. Making it framable to sort it into our moral system and help us to deal with something like death.
For my characters I think it would be pretty easy a death that could have been prevented.
Most armed forces in the Union have a great deal of empathy for the Eltaryn. They see the Terror they bring and have pitty for their wasted life's. But this empathy doesn't stop them from defending the victims of the Eltaryn. It just makes them people instead of killing machines.
