A lot of white liberals are hostile to China, Africa, the Middle East, etc. because they, too, want to maintain American hegemony, resource theft, and imperial military power abroad and wealthy white supremacy at home. They just don't want to be embarrassed by Trump doing it.
When this is all over, we will need to delete states as legal entities. No more state laws, state legislatures, courts, governors, none of it.
The one thing I have always tried to keep society from taking away from me is my own sense of humanity. I'm not a freak. I'm not an outsider. I'm not unique or different from everyone else. I'm not an alien in the human world, a stranger in a strange land. I'm just a person. And I refuse to give that away for a sense of superiority, exceptionalism, or even the comfort of separation from others human beings, trying to avoid shared blame and shared guilt. I live here.
