Hast du schonmal eine männliche nicht-queere Figur gelesen/geschrieben, die kritische Männlichkeit lebt.

Gelesen, gesehen in Serien und ich versuche nicht toxische Männer zu schreiben trotz meiner in Nummer 15 erwähnten Abneigung und meinem Sexismus gegenüber Männern. Als Beispiele möchte ich die hauptsächlich hier auf Mastodon für mein WIP Star Ryde entwickelten Figuren William Troika und L. Jenkins nennen wobei Jenkins relativ toxisch in dem Umfeld der Ghoz'Tarc Crew wirkt. Eigentlich ist er es aber gar nicht. Er folgt nur einer anderen Auffassung von Führungsstil und ist eher ein "by the books" character der von Anika speziell wegen dieser Eigenschaft ausgewählt wurde.

Tell us about your SC’s most cherished possession.

William Troika, second executive officer.
Since the Ghoz'Tarc is a smaller sized ship, space inside is limited (outside is plenty but that's not usable). So much of what people carry with them is on the digital side.
William has an complete Holo (smartphone 10.0) full of messages, videos, audios and pictures of his family with him. He just loves to see his daughters and wife every day, it reminds him why he is in the military.
He carries it in a small pocket inside his uniform directly above his heart.

753. Where do your SCs feel the happiest?

Most with their Families and loved ones at home or doing the job they feel "called for" this is a remaining artifact concept from the German Beruf.
Work you do or "a job" but comes from "die Berufung" which means "call to be a" _____ literally the same like in "call to be an epic mage that safes the world" "call to be the fates chosen one" etc.
Yes German work culture was and in sadly only parts is way more than the stuff you do to survive or make money to survive. But the concept was taken on by terrans and other union species.

Security Chief Silas Crosby: "A daughter her name is Denise she and her families are the reasons I am still a soldier despite surpassing my 50."

XO Jenkins: "No childrens are not part of my or my husband's plan."

If your SC had a picture frame with slots for 3 photos, who / what would be in the pictures?

For SC's I have a faint clou let's take

XO L.Jenkins he and his husband picture one would be them on their first interaction Jenkins in a fur suit.
His future husband handing him some water on a break. Second on their first date both in sharp cut tuxedos in the midst of a weird looking bar & the third on their wedding where Jenkins husband wears a tuxedo topside combined with a Scottish kilt. What isn't on the scenes is how Jenkins got carried away by him all the way from the priest to the party location.

XO W.Troika, his wife in the middle with him probably on their wedding, two of his 4 daughters on the left and two on the right.

Security Chief S.Crosby her daughter Denise the main reason she fights for everyone else.

Our allegiance is clear, I do not doubt in Captain Knox abilities to get her task done without compromise, I trust Flight Commander Paktii to get her orders & her responsibilities out clear & loud. I totally understand your position sir, but this mission was hand picked by Captain Johanson do to the complexity & skill levels required for this mission.
I understand that you feel insecure you left your husband behind, I my daughters & my wife, but Captain Knox leads this mission like Captain Johanson would have done. She knew the stackes. So did you, so did I. I have no doubt that my captain, you or any fellow crew mate will do their best."

Security chief Silas Crosby:"For the life of my daughter Denise. She is the reason I fight so hard."

XO 1 Jenkins:"I'm here for my Husband, he lives on Terra Luna in Berlin and runs a mining operation. Distance Relationships suck but I have sworn my duty to protect civilians like him."

XO 2 Troika:"For my wife or my daughters, it's not easy to live with 4 genius, kind and free spirited Lady's but I won't miss a single moment we have together. Usually our missions don't take so long and I hope they can forgive me..."

Chief Engineer Trawella:"Loosing the bloody core shielding, that would be a nightmare for the whole crew. My cheerful mood for the same reason."

Dr. Kaiden:"I don't want to loose any more Crew members."

Troika: he sticks out because he wouldn't in our time, if you see him you think about a healthy looking middle aged man. He has something soothing to him, which is probably his personality as father of 3 girls & married man in the military. He took parental leave for every child and usually works 2 weeks, than stays for 2 weeks with his family which makes him a bit tired in this mission and a tiny bit more restless looking.

Trawella, 160 cm, the energy of a zooming cat while fixing things, 100% relaxed turtle energy while not, but open hearted & welcoming body languages, darkest of dark black hair & a fiery red beard. He is the Ghoz'Tarc's Main engineer & usually the cleanest looking person on board, despite using his size to crawl into the deepest reachable parts of the Ghoz'Tarc. His eyes are bright yellow & he sports a bit of a tummy.

657. Continuing with last night’s questioning, tell us if your SC is one to be forgiving as well.

It depends on the SC in case of Chief Engineer Charlston Trawella, sometimes Karl or also Tuck
(because if the German word "der Tacker" which means stapler the German A sounds very similar to the u in words like tucker, trucker, runner etc) is a really forgiving person. He is someone who fixes things, to fix things they need to break first right?

Dr. Waberi is a nice person but she has a mental list of deeds person done that she did not approve of. She is like Kira more on the forgiving side but lives the rule of 3.

Security Chief Silas Crosby tends to take such things more like Arkham one more chance should be enough.

2.XO William Troika is very forgiving and maybe even softer than Kira, He doesn't think much of the rule of 3 and is more the one who would give 4 or 5 chances.

2/2 William Troika joined to keep his family save because he wants to see his daughters grow & thrive. As 2.XO he has some motivation to lead born from the feeling that someone has to lead & that someone should be a level headed person. If not Alliance he would probably have Ende Up in politics.

L.Jenkins: As the second in command after Kira, Jenkins always was a man of Action, he is not so much by the book but by the means. He wants to be the captain one day but his ambition is hold back by his sense of duty. After this Mission who knows.

Chief Engineer Charlston Tuck aka Tucker (a combination from his last Name Tuck and the German Tacker which means stapler) was the leading head behind the Ghoz'Tarcs redesign so he is in to keep his project running and successful.

I will not go into detail for all the last ~30 crew members no worries.😅
