When I was 14. My classmates began writing poetry. I read it with them. I thought that was fun, and I began writing short after that.

Among those classmates, two are published authors. I migrated to the Web when I was about 20.

I wrote little stories since elementary just for myself, but started writing for real in 2015 with "Romea" being published in January 2018.
Eighteen books since and still counting…

that’s a loaded Q. I vividly elementary school designing my own newspaper at home & writing articles. I wish I still had that. Then in high school I started working on a story but put it away. I found a printed copy a few years ago and since scanned it in & typed it! Now I’ve got a digital copy. I’ve dabbled and added to it. It’s not my current style of writing that started in 2016

My very first start is back in 2015. Then, I stopped, because I was lacking in experience and self esteem.
Then, back in 2020, during pandemic I restarted, to stop again in 2022.
2025 is the year of my rebirth as writer and I hope it won't stop anymore...

I started writing little ghost stories at 6 or 7 & I vaguely recall trying to write more seriously in my teens, but I'm not sure that counts. In my 20s most of my writing was in the form of online play-by-post games, but to be fair I probably did write several million words of that.

I only started writing seriously in 2011 with my first fanfic, & 2020 with my current WIP (which started germinating ca. 2014 though)

Since primary school. Secondary school largely discouraged creativity. I threw myself into roleplaying games, wrote stories here and there, and had a big outpouring after a writing workshop. Then kids. in 2012 I used a sabbatical to write a novel and ain't no stopping me now

"Wanting to be a writer" and "doing stuff to make you a writer" are quite different
