This is a fascinating thread about the idea of a universal basic income. There have been many experiments testing a UBI in the world and people keep debating it....but in countries with a state funded old age pension, we have a massive real time UBI experiment....in the case of Aotearoa NZ for 88 years.
....so what happens when people turn 65 and get a universal basic income.... We live our best lives! Including stacks of volunteering.
