Tax The Rich!!

"Last year alone, after receiving the largest tax break in history from Donald Trump, 938 billionaires in America became $1.5tn richer. Since he was elected, President Trump and his family have become $4bn richer."

Yes, the rich must start paying their fair share of taxes

We need a 5% wealth tax on America’s 938 billionaires. Over a ten-year period, this bill would raise much-needed $4.4tn for public coffers

There is hope. #WashingtonState, with its business hub Seattle, has imposed a #millionaires tax.

“… state legislature has just passed a different form of tax aimed at the state’s ultra-wealthy – a 9.9% income tax that kicks in at a million-dollar threshold”

Washington state’s ‘historic’ millionaire tax takes aim at super-rich – will it succeed?

As living costs rise, the state where Gates and Bezos made billions is targeting top earners – could other states follow?

Let's be clear, this isn't about 'giving back' because if they truly believed in giving back they'd be funding desperately needed things instead of doing vanity projects to create a fake 'legacy' and try to portray themselves as 'philanthropists' in the later lives.

This is about getting their name on a building at one of the worlds most renowned institutions... and dodging taxes... Because 'donations' can be offset against your tax bill... So he's just reduced his tax bill over the next few years to the tune of £190 million.

That's £190 million more covered by the actual taxpayers of this country, whilst the rich continue to say 'fuck you' to every single working class person... and why do I not mention 'middle class'... because there's no such thing. Middle classes were invented by the rich so that some people could look down on others instead up at the ones truly keeping them down.
