Still probably one of my favorite uses of different #Umbrage settings! Also gave me some insights for additional modes and features that could improve utility even more! Love to make plugins with approaches that are simply not utilized yet! Of course #DRMFree #linuxaudio #multiplatform #ambient #reverb

I take #umbrage with #Bovino 's statement of praise for the officers that killed "Good". Merriam-Webster's #Word of the Day for Jan 13 is "umbrage": www.merriam-webster.com/word-of-the-...

Umbrage is a word born in the shadows. Its ultimate source (and that of umbrella is Latin umbra, meaning “shade, shadow,” and when it was first used in the 15th century it referred to exactly that.

@micheleann In the Monty Python 'Election Night' sketch, a parody of television news election coverage from 1970, John Cleese, playing a news anchor, announces that 'Mary Whitehouse has taken Umbrage', with 'Umbrage' sounding like 'Umbridge', which could be understood as a British town name that could conceivably have been the name of a parliamentary constituency.

(Mary Whitehouse was a well-known anti-obscenity activist of the era.)
