Die meneer van jou was inderdaad de creepy vrolijkheid himself.

Begin jaren tachtig zag ik #RonPerlman spelen in #QuestForFire. Prachtige film waarin hij alleen maar prehistorische kreten kon slaken. Veel non-verbaal acteerwerk, dus. Een paar jaar later was hij de "me stupido" Salvatore in #TheNameOfTheRose. Daarna bleek hij in #TheLastSupper ineens een hoogintelligente religieuze populist te zijn, die om die reden uit de weg geruimd moest worden door studenten die hem zijn last supper aanboden.

Zo indrukwekkend hoe iemand zo overtuigend zulke tegenstrijdige rollen neer kon zetten. Uiteraard is hij later actiefilms gaan doen, want💲. 🤷🏻‍♂️

In Christianity, today is Maundy Thursday, the first day of the Triduum Sacrum (the Holy Three Days), which consists of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday. Today marks the commemoration of the Last Supper of Jesus Christ and his 12 disciples.

From newspapers and magazines, Tim Roeloffs cuts and slices pictures and glues them together into a collage, in which a new, fantastic world emerges. After working as a tennis instructor, Tim Roeloffs settled in Berlin in 1992 and joined the artists' initiative Tacheles. After art and culture house Tacheles closed in 2012, Tim has worked in various workshops in Berlin and his work is available at various galleries. Currently, Tim creates his work in a workshop/shop in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
