New (to me) #rowingmachine day! I got a used Concept2 last night, and today was my first session. I had to pay more attention to form than I'm used to because this is a chain drive and my previous rower used pneumatic levers, so the range of motion was basically fixed. According to my Fitbit, I used about 20% more energy in the same amount time, which is nice. The heel soreness was unanticipated, but I'm sure it won't take long to build up the new calluses I need.

First erg of the season. Too dark for a single, actually I would have been out dark or not but there must be a competition this weekend, possibly Tyne single sculls, and half the club boats were on a trailer.
30 minutes steady reminding myself that it's a useful tool all the way.
