The planned quad outing with a sub was charged last minute but I got out in a single #sculling on the wear. A beautiful sunny morning, perfect conditions for a relaxing paddle. This afternoon we are off to Sheffield for the penultimate visit while our son has been studying there.

Out single #sculling dodging a paddle boarder and the weed. Distracted by the kingfisher who was very active this morning I ran straight through the weed that has now fully recovered from getting trimmed and pulled for the regatta. A beautiful still morning with a glimpse of the otter at the turn above the clubhouse, I followed it round to just above the rugby pitch but lost it when I started worrying about the shallows. This morning was all about toes and seat bones, the nature was a bonus.

An evening of easy running and a few stumbles with coxhoe on the run. One runners first run since the wall and another person stumbling on the sleepers along the old line through Garmondsway both cutting the run short but doing ok. A warm sunny night. I missed my Tuesday run driving to Lincolnshire and back yesterday, trying to decide whether to swap it to Thursday and risk two runs back to back or go for a paddle.

O víkendu jsme byli s partou kamarádů a dětmi na Sázavě. Asi to byl poslední víkend, kdy byla ještě sjízdná. Počasí se celkem vyřadilo a občas vysvitlo sluníčko, takže se někteří účastníci i spálili.
První den jsme měli půjčený raft, ale 5 dospělých a 5 dětí ho už celkem přitížilo.
Druhý den jsme začínali na Barace a v průběhu cesty jsme ji vyměnili za laminát.
Bylo to super, ale dětem se víc líbila Vltava.
