A clear night, so got first light with the 2600MC-DUO I picked up in December. M42/Orion was up early and within my field, so seemed like a good target. Hope to get 100 120s light frames before the fog comes in.

Had two hours before the dutch clouds came back so I tried the Horsehead Nebula, IC 434.

This weekend, the skies above Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) decided to give us a clear night during this rainy spring. Since I was in the city, II used my L-eXtreme narrowband filter hence the red colour you see. First time with this filter, and am happy with my progress towards my Orion Nebula summer project.
