#Trump will be the next #UnitedStates president, after he was #impeached 2X & #convicted of state #crimes. He campaigned on…instituting #tariffs on most imports,…mass #deportations, rolling back #climate regulations & cracking down on #dissent.

Trump won after he campaigned on #nativist & #racist rhetoric about #immigrants. He spent his campaign trying to convince voters that their financial livelihoods were better when he was in office [despite inheriting Obama’s economy & then tanking it].

Out of all the outlandish claims at the presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, perhaps the most absurd was Trump’s exclamation that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, were #eating #dogs

Not only is that a racist lie -- It’s also a part of a long history of anti-Haitianism across the United States and Western hemisphere.
