Still learning…but this is me. Love physical exercise like yoga 🧘🏼‍♀️ pilates or balance 🤸🏼‍♂️plus a bit of pump 🏋🏼‍♀️ but also happy to just walk 🚶‍♀️ I believe we’ve lost our way when it comes to food & am a proponent of J.E.R.F. Just Eat Real Food & very little processed or packaged food. Love my garden, especially when I grow my own produce. Not very good at it, but that’s ok. At 72 life is pretty damned good, healthier than I was 30yrs ago & intend to stay that way for as long as I can. Wiradjuri country.
Blue Origin's space tourism isn’t progress or feminism. It’s privilege with a jetpack.

It is upsetting to see the wealthy cosplaying as astronauts, turning space exploration into a PR circus, writes Mani Thiru.

Good morning tooters. Good long sleep of nearly 9hrs last night, although I was up a few times, my fault for drinking nearly all my 4 bottles of water yesterday afternoon & evening 🙃. It’s a beautiful clear sunshiny day outside & is about 15c heading up to 26c.
The Wodonga pool is now closed for the season unfortunately, so most of my exercise will revert to at home exercise classes & walking. I am going to miss all the swimming but do hope to be able to get some days in at the Albury pool before it gets too cool.
Once I’m showered & dressed I’m heading to the chemist to get some of the Soov Bite cream recommended to me yesterday. I’ve become aware of more bites around my neck area & arms. I don’t understand why I wasn’t aware of being bitten, especially so many of them. The Claratyne I took yesterday evening helped somewhat, but I still itch. Just call me dotty or spotty 😄.
Apart from that, the lawns need mowing so that’s a late morning or early afternoon job today.
Hoping everyone has a great #Tuesday, stay safe out there 🌻. #Weather #Exercise #InsectBites #Garden
Having a cheats dinner tonight. I found a jar of tuna bake in the cupboard & I always have tuna in the cupboard too. So that’s dinner tonight. Not with pasta though. I have carrot, broccoli, celery, silverbeet & peas stirred through it along with some fresh chilli & a little tabasco sauce. A three cheese mix on top & that’s my dinner plus enough for another couple of nights, but I’ll probably freeze some for another day. #CheatMeal #Food
I’m home, I’m unpacked which wasn’t much anyway & I have some washing on, especially my walking sneakers which became so very dusty due to where I walking. Coffee is in the pot, I’m defrosting a couple of slices of sourdough for my lunch & I’m going to blob for the afternoon. Regarding the bites I have - I still think it’s fleas & I have a least half a dozen now on my torso & more on my arms & legs & they itch 😞. I’ve left a note for the homeowners - they can check the dogs.
I feel like putting on pjs already - but I won’t —— yet 😁. #HouseSit #PetSit I love my little #Home.
Good morning tooters. A lot of rain last night has resulted in a very foggy morning. It’s just 11c & will only get to 21c & more rain is forecast. The sun is appearing though & starting to burn off the fog.
I’ve started to pack up as I head home today & I wish I hadn’t packed my mocha pot. It’s an old one that comes with me on every sit, but I noticed that the homeowners had some of those cappuccino sachets & decided that would do for the last morning coffee & packed it - but it’s awful stuff 😕 so I’ve tipped it out and made a cup of tea instead 🍵.
No walks for the dogs this morning, but they will get one when the owners return after lunch. I’ve also been told not to bother washing my sheets either with rain forecast. So I’ll just strip & remake putting the sheets I used into laundry basket with my towels.
Looking forward to getting home, unpacking & then doing nothing else for the day. I’ve enjoyed it out here, but it has been quite a busy 4 night sit.
Last day of the long Easter weekend, hope you all enjoy this #Monday. Time for me to get moving.

I don’t know about this nor do I fully understand it, but it’s definitely a different take for our own security. #AusPol

By adopting a different military philosophy as its guide, Australia could manage its security largely on its own.

Happy Easter Sunday tooters. It is already about 19c here in Chiltern & it’s heading to 27c with some rain forecast this afternoon.
I need to get moving & take these dogs I’m caring for on their walk. I do believe that young Ozi may have a flea or two, or maybe it’s the chooks 🤷🏼‍♀️. I just know Ozi scratches & I have a couple or three bites - hmm! I slept with the knee brace on last night & used an extra pillow for support & my knee is a lot better. I will keep the brace on for today as well though, but at least I’m not limping now so I don’t think I tore anything & I will be very mindful when out walking this morning.
My morning routine while I’m here once I get up is to give the dogs their morning chicken wings, fill up the cats food bowls & then make a cup of tea. After which it’s full light & I can feed the chooks, then I make my own breakfast & a hot coffee. So all that is now done & I’m off for my shower & then our walk.
Have a wonderful #Sunday, don’t eat too much chocolate 🍫. #Weather #HouseSit #PetSit #Easter
