I 1000 passeggeri della nave da crociera Msc Euribia, bloccati da sabato nel porto di Rashid a Dubai, rientreranno in Italia entro sabato prossimo, 7 marzo 2026, grazie a cinque voli charter. A rivelarlo è stata la stessa compagnia Msc Crociere in una nota.
La compagnia fa sapere di aver “lavorato per trovare il modo più sicuro e rapido per rimpatriare i propri ospiti e ha adottato ulteriori misure per accelerare questo processo, lanciando un’operazione di volo dedicata che attualmente prevede cinque voli charter, con i primi programmati in partenza oggi, giovedì 5 marzo. Si prevede che questi voli possano consentire a circa 1.000 ospiti di lasciare la regione entro sabato“.
La compagnia ha proseguito, spiegando che sta continuando a “valutare tutte le possibili soluzioni per i restanti ospiti, tra cui voli commerciali, ulteriori opzioni charter e soluzioni coordinate con il supporto delle autorità competenti”. Al momento sono programmati due voli charter, con il primo che partirà nel pomeriggio di oggi: saranno circa 350 le persone a rientrare in Italia nella giornata odierna.

The 1,000 passengers of the MSC Euribia cruise ship, stranded since Saturday in the port of Rashid in Dubai, will return to Italy by next Saturday, March 7, 2026, thanks to five charter flights. This was revealed by MSC Cruises itself in a statement.

The company stated that it had “worked to find the safest and fastest way to repatriate its guests and has taken further measures to accelerate this process, launching a dedicated flight operation which currently involves five charter flights, with the first scheduled to depart today, Thursday, March 5th. These flights are expected to allow approximately 1,000 guests to leave the region by Saturday.”

The company continued, explaining that it is continuing to “evaluate all possible solutions for the remaining guests, including commercial flights, further charter options and solutions coordinated with the support of the competent authorities.” Currently, two charter flights are scheduled, with the first departing this afternoon: approximately 350 people will return to Italy today.

(askanews) - Il trombettista italiano Pietro Latte è una delle 5mila persone bloccate sulla nave Msc Euribia a Dubai, dopo l'esplosione del conflitto scatenato dagli attacchi israeliani e Usa sull'Iran e a cui Teheran ha risposto prendendo di mira varie località del Golfo, fra cui anche gli Emirati Arabi Uniti.
