Regarding my last post. "Art isn't dead, you're just stuck watching corporate sh**" (Disney/Marvel/DC/EA Games/Blizzard/ Activision)
I was talking with a friend about it.
90% of what I consume is indie media. Bcz I learned habits that allow me to find cool indie stuff seamlessly.
But it can be hard for ppl who are used to just consume what is trending, to just go off the grid with their media.
Maybe we need something like a "manual to abandon corporate media". It could be a Zine.
Telling trans people that you support them is not very useful. It's FAR more impactful to tell your cis friends that you support us. Even better, tell your representatives in government that you support us, and that trans rights are an important issue to you.
I almost forgot: "cis" just means "not trans" (both from Latin). Literally, "trans" means something like "crossing over" (eg, like trans-Atlantic) and "cis" means "on the same side."
I have turned the allistic’s weapon against them. My new power is unnatural levels of eye-contact when listening to someone.
So far I’ve caused one person to forget what they were saying and I plan to hone this pier further. We shall see who has the problems with eye-contact!
