Um, hey, when #MastodonTechnology went down, did they delete all the toots (and federate the deletions) before shutting down?
I kind of expected to still see those old toot federated to other instances. (E.g. I am pretty sure I made some #ABAP-toots from my Mastodon.Technology-account...)

(I have my export, so nothing is lost to me)

I'd love to know the reasons behind using the current stack. Not being negative. Just curious. I haven't used Postgres since the early 2000s and I've never got around to using Ruby. It has been interesting getting acquainted with it.

Personally I moved away from Postgres purely because MySQL hosting became so much cheaper.
