A Quick Heads-Up About My
#Posting Here 💜
Hey everyone 👋
Just popping in with a little update about what you’ll be seeing from me here on nsfw.lgbt going forward. Nothing dramatic, nothing final — just a bit of rebalancing as I reorganize where I post what.
What’s changing?
I’m still going to be #posting on this account! I’m not going anywhere. But you will see fewer
#porn #posts from me directly on nsfw.lgbt than before.
The reason isn’t complicated — I’m shifting most of my content over to my own single-user #Sharkey instance at:
👉
@mike
If you enjoy my posts, that’s where the majority of it is going to originate from now.
Why the shift?
There are a few reasons, and one of them is simply that on my own instance, I can experiment a bit more.
I want to play with settings, features, and configurations in Sharkey that wouldn’t be practical (or necessarily a good idea!) to try out on an instance with thousands of users. My personal server gives me the freedom to tinker without affecting anyone else’s experience.
It’s not the main reason I’m moving content over — but it’s definitely one of them.
Beyond that, I’m trying to keep things consistent across all my accounts on all the instances I use. nsfw.lgbt, nsfw.social, and cyberczar.org are all interconnected for me. I cross-post, I #boost, I
#repost my own stuff, and I share content from others across the whole ecosystem. None of that is changing.
What is changing is where my #porn posts start their journey.
So what does this mean for you?
You’ll still see my #content here — just more in the form of
#boosts and
#reposts from cyberczar.org rather than brand-new uploads on nsfw.lgbt though I do plan to still upload content here!
If you follow me here because you enjoy what I post: awesome, you’ll still get it.
If you want to catch everything right at the source: consider following me at @mike.
Nothing big — just streamlining
This isn’t a goodbye or a fade-out. I’m simply organizing things in a way that makes sense for how I use the #fediverse — as someone who both posts a lot and runs servers that many people rely on.
Thanks for sticking around, for the support, and for being part of this community 💜
