#UXFail
It's been quite a while since I've used the stupid goddamn shitty useless asinine idiotic trumpy Zoom app.
IT ISN'T ANY BETTER
In fact. IT'S WORSE.
Give me a break - I can't minimize it. I can't move it to a different workspace. I can't go to a different workspace while it's open, because it shrinky-dinks and FOLLOWS me!
That, on top of NO READABLE FONT SIZE OPTIONS, makes it a prime contender for worst app I know of.
Somehow the order of my „recently closed tabs“ list in Safari (on iOS at least) is upside down. Means, the oldest are on top and I‘d have to scroll two kilometers to reach the one I just accidentally closed. Who at Apple thinks this is a good idea? Was it always like this or is this a recent change?
the very first time I used the new meatballs drawer in #Firefox Android, I tapped the quit button instead of the refresh button 👍
my settings have "clear browsing data when quitting" turned on, so in practice I rarely quit unless I want to clear browsing data, so this nuked all my recent history.
maybe if Mozilla wasn't squandering immense resources on AI slop nobody wants, #UXfail like this wouldn't make it to general release.
Apple Music can now list Concerts nearby!
On first use, I found 3 names I might be interested in. And 50+ names I would never like to see on my phone's screen ever again.
The fact I cannot perma-hide genres and artists I have no interest in is a #UXFail. Not to mention that I can only have my city and cannot add a few more capitals that are a sub-5-hour drive away.
What a great promise, what a terrible execution. It's like no one even uses this shit before they ship it
