I dont get it... why do people complain about iPadOS holding the iPad back when the iPad is first and foremost a tablet??? If you wanted a full power machine that can do full power work get a laptop. Like of course the apps are deigned for mobile touch screens. Thats the main input of a tablet.

Why would you want to edit full videos or do professional grade photo editing on a tablet anyways? Those workflows are much better suited for laptops and desktops which are guaranteed to have the inputs required and the screens are large enough to give a usable interface. Mobile devices are and always have been for lighter work and that doesn't need to change.

I dont understand why everyone is so intent on turning tablets into worse laptops. I don't want a tablet to replace what I already have. I want a tablet to fill in the hole between my laptop and my phone (larger touch based device that works great for drawing and video watching).

Stop trying to combine two different form factors into something that works for neither use case well.
