A lunchtime request from my 16 year old son, who has become completely enthralled by this album.

I gave him a day off from school, and took him downtown with me today to do some shopping at the record store.
He asked me to buy him his OWN copy of this for his collection (he sure as hell wasn’t getting my Rhino audiophile press), and I was more than happy to oblige.

When I asked him what he liked about it the most, without hesitation he said the guitars on it. He commented how well both Lloyd and Verlaine interlock perfectly with one another; how on EVERY song, the two of them just FIT.

Boy do they ever.
One of the greatest albums of all time.
