This sprawling 11 disc set documents live performances by Patti spread out over five years; NYC, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Oregon.

Tonight, I’m starting with the first two discs, which is ONE show from the Bottom Line in NYC, two days after Christmas in 1975.

Just a crazy snapshot of a wild five year window from one of the most important artists of all time.

Musical Interlude: Listened to this randomly today; this is a classic from my youth and it holds up remarkably well. She sometimes did lament that people obsessed over why he did what he did, and what they threw....in her mind, the real thrust of the song was the family's indifference to her obvious shock.

It was a very long but very enjoyable 32 hours on the mainland, and THIS was my favorite find yesterday, for 20 CAD from a used bin.

Very much remembered for the TITTIE-PALOOZA happening on the cover, I’ve always been a big fan of this record musically.
I love #reggae and #dub , and Cut does a wonderful job combining these two genres I love and throwing them into a blender with angular #postpunk music.

The guitars have always stood out to me. Like what it would sound like if Andy Gill made a dub or reggae album.

Really fun record.
And yes… REALLY fun cover.
